ELIGIBILITY

Applications can be linked to any sport recognised by Sport England and/or UK Sport

Individuals should be 11 – 18 years

The individual must reside or go to a school within the Horsham District

An individual can only receive one Set4Success grant in any award year - this being 12 months from the date at which an award is given. It will be possible to apply for and receive another award after a year has elapsed. A maximum of 2 awards will awarded.

The applicant should not be in receipt of a UK Sport Athlete Personal Award (APA) or the Talented Athlete Support Scheme (TASS)

Eligible expenditure should be related to the applicant’s training and competition needs and is restricted to the following categories – coaching, equipment, clothing, travel, accommodation/subsistence and entry fees.

EXPECTATIONS

Successful applicants should:

1. Make themselves available to attend at least one event per year for promotional purposes on behalf of Set4Success. 
2. Respond to interim (6 month) and final (12 month) performance update request emails.
3. Promote the Set4Success scheme where reasonably possible and appropriate and using promotional resources that Set4Success may provide. Link to and engage with Set4Success social media platforms (facebook and twitter) where possible. 
4. Inform Set4Success of any significant change of circumstances such as illness/injury or moving of house/school that may affect their ability to continue their sport at a performance level and/or satisfy the expectations that the scheme has of its award recipients.
